The sole owner of Marshall Brothers, LLC, Jim Marshall brings over five years of flooring and stairs experience to your home. Marshall is a well educated and consummate professional that takes pride in every job he does and is with the customer from start to finish. He will sell you the job, get his hands dirty working on the job, and then follow up and present you with the finished product.
A South Jersey native, Marshall grew up in Maple Shade and is a 1996 graduate of Holy Cross High School. He is a 2000 graduate of Lehigh University where he earned a bachelor’s in Accounting. After serving as the university’s Sports Media Relations Director for two years, Marshall then relocated to Ellington, Connecticut where he then entered the hardwood flooring field.
A tireless worker and continuous student of the field, Marshall first learned the trade while working as an apprentice with All-Wood Flooring under owner Mike Grimaldi.After quickly moving up the ranks at the Bolton, Connecticut based business, Marshall ran his own crew and assisted with many of the sales aspects of the business within the first year.After two and half years with All-Wood, Marshall became a minority partner in the business and assisted with many of the day-to-day operations of the business.He handled the supervisory duties of all three crews and assisted with the scheduling of jobs in addition to serving as the primary sales representative.Marshall left All-Wood in April of 2006 to relocate back to South Jersey to be close to both his and his wife’s families.The move resulted in the birth of Marshall Brothers, LLC.
Marshall currently lives in Marlton, New Jersey with his wife and 18 month old son.
Currently a sophomore at Wesley University in Dover, Joe Marshall is a flooring and stair apprentice with Marshall Brothers.He works summers and over breaks with Marshall Brothers and plans to join the company full-time upon graduation.
A 2004 graduate of Camden Catholic High School, Marshall resides in Maple Shade when he is not at school.
A native of Westmont, New Jersey Alex Maista is in his first year as an apprentice with Marshall Brothers.He is currently a level one apprentice in which his duties include, basic installation techniques, rough sanding, and assisting in the finishing process.Maista’s previous jobs have included working at several car dealerships including Cherry Hill Imports.He is 22 years of age and currently lives in Westmont.
